The second generation of AutoCount POS is officially launched in the month of August, 2009.
To determine a POS package that best suit your business requirement, ask yourself the following questions:
Q1. Do I need a POS system only, OR a POS system with Inventory Control and Purchasing, OR a POS system complete with Inventory Control and Accounting functions...
(this will determine the front end package and back end package.)
Q2. What is the operation setup that I want?
(this will determine the quantity of packages)
Setup type 1: Single outlet with one terminal.
Setup type 2: Single outlet with several terminals.
Setup type 3: Multiple outlets, each with one terminal.
Setup type 4: Multiple outlets, each with one/several terminals.
Q3. Except Setup Type 1 (standalone setup), how would I like the Terminal(s) setup to be?
(this will determine if you need to purchase Database Sync Server)
- (recommended) Each terminal will run independently (off line), each terminal maintain its own database, both database at terminal/outlet and the main (or HQ) server will be updated almost instantly thru synchronization.
- All terminals will run dependently (on line), no database is kept at terminal/outlet, terminals retrieve database from main/HQ server. Any disturb in networking/internet will cause the halt in terminal operation.
