How to upgrade from older version?

The Version History

(1) AutoCount Accounting 2000 / Lite / Plus

(2) AutoCount Professional

(3) AutoCount Premier 3.0

(4) AutoCount XP

(5) AutoCount Premier 3.5

(6) AutoCount Accounting (latest version)

Upgrading to Latest Version

Upgrade From AutoCount Accounting 2000

Steps to upgrade an account book:
(Upgrade from AutoCount Accounting 2000 to AutoCount Professional)

Step 1: in AutoCount Accounting 2000, run Backup

Step 2: install AutoCount Professional. then go to Housekeeping menu and run Restore using backup file from Step 1.

Step 3: in AutoCount Professional, logon to the account book newly restored from Step 2.. Run upgrade process triggered by the system.

(Upgrade from AutoCount Professional to AutoCount XP)

Step 4: in AutoCount Professional, run Backup

Step 5: install AutoCount XP. then go to Housekeeping menu and run Restore using backup file from Step 4.

Step 6: in AutoCount XP, logon to the account book newly restored from Step 5.. Run upgrade process triggered by the system.

(Upgrade from AutoCount XP to AutoCount Accounting)

Step 7: refer to Upgrade from AutoCount XP / Premier 3.5

Upgrade From AutoCount Professional

(Upgrade from AutoCount Professional to AutoCount XP)

Step 1: in AutoCount Professional, run Backup

Step 2: install AutoCount XP. then go to Housekeeping menu and run Restore using backup file from Step 1.

Step 3: in AutoCount XP, logon to the account book newly restored from Step 2.. Run upgrade process triggered by the system.

(Upgrade from AutoCount XP to AutoCount Accounting)

Step 4: refer to Upgrade from AutoCount XP / Premier 3.5

Upgrade From AutoCount Premier 3.0

(Upgrade from AutoCount Premier 3.0 to AutoCount Premier 3.5)

Step 1: in AutoCount Premier 3.0, run Backup

Step 2: install AutoCount Premier 3.5. then go to Housekeeping menu and run Restore using backup file from Step 1.

Step 3: in AutoCount Premier 3.5, logon to the account book newly restored from Step 2.. Run upgrade process triggered by the system.

(Upgrade from AutoCount Premier 3.5 to AutoCount Accounting)

Step 4: refer to Upgrade from AutoCount XP / Premier 3.5
